GUIDELINES FOR WRITING THE ARTICLE
Call for Submissions — IIENetworker Magazine Fall 2033 Issue
For the last seven years, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UM SDGs) have provided an ambitious and important roadmap for governments, corporations, institutions, organizations, and individuals to do their part in making our world a better place for all. The seventeen goals have many natural intersections with international education, and the global higher education community has a critical role to play in thearch towards 2030. The fall 2022 issue of the IIENetworker Magazine will examine these intersections between international higher education and the UN SDGs, seeking to share current efforts and ideas for for how to further engage with the SDGs over the next eight years.
Key questions to consider include;
– How is your institution or organization currently engaging with the UN SDGs? Does your institution have specific goals, staff, structures,or other resources dedicated to advancing the SDGs?
– How has the inclusion of SDGs in some global rankings affected global higher education?
– What are other strategies that could help more institutions and organizations become involved and invested in advancing the SDGs?
-Is there a specific SDG that your institutions or organization is focusing on?
– How does international education support the SDGs? Conversely, what are some of the challenges or contradictions between international education and the SDGs?
All submissions must be maximum 800 words and submitted as a Word document.
