Research the Internet and look for an article pertaining to the topic of ergonomics in the workplace.
After you have selected and read an article of interest, create a properly formatted memo. Address the memo to Diane Frank; from you (use your first and last name); use the current date; and come up with a short subject line related to your article.
Format the memo like the one that appears on page 223. Your headings should be in ALL CAPS, formatted in BOLD, and tab over enough times to line up information VERTICALLY after each heading. The body of the memo should include your 100-word minimum summary. It will likely only be one paragraph. Make sure to include the website address where the article can be found or upload a copy of the article with your assignment.
In addition, you must also summarize the main points of the article. Do not copy and paste from the article. This is plagiarism. Your summary should be in YOUR OWN WORDS and at least 100 words in length. (This does not include the memo headings or website address in the word count.)
If you upload your file, it must be a Word document or PDF file. I can’t open .pages files. You also have the option of typing your assignment in the text entry location…but pay attention to proper format.
*Make sure you use correct grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation or points will be deducted.
