*******Partial Outline: I will be writing my “Explaining a Concept” essay on the Concept of Trust.
I will open my essay by explaining why trust is such and important concept in life and to me myself. The main point to opening my essay this way is to explain why I picked trust as my concept. Trust is a very important concept to every aspect in my life. I don’t feel that you can have a good relationship with anyone without loyalty or trust which I feel lie hand in hand. Trust is possibly one of the most important aspects of any relationship, whether it is with family, friends, partners or others. However, even though it is something everyone desires, whether it is being able to trust others or have others trust us; trust is something that is difficult to explain. Indeed, defining trust is a good topic for this essay to me.
According to the Meridian Webster Dictionary “Trust” is an assure reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something, namely, something where people place their confidence. For instance, the dependence on something future or contingent that means hope. Another example of “Trust” is a legal agreement formed by the combination of firms or corporations which reduce the threat and mitigate competition among them.
Reliance or reliability is another important aspect of trust. When you trust someone, you are willing to rely on the action of another. Trust is a major component in any relationship. A relationship cannot exist without some degree of trust. I will be comparing and contrasting these as well.
Trust isn’t something you get and you don’t have to worry about anymore it is something you are constantly working for no matter who the person you are trying to make trust you. Regardless how much people already trust you, trust is something that can always continue to grow. The concept of trust is something everyone wants not just for themselves but from others as well. I will classify trust by talking about the different types of trust you can feel and have.
Examples of trust will be included into my essay to show and prove just exactly how important it is to have trust. For example, suppose that your friend has borrowed your necklace; you have given her the necklace because you trust her to use it well and return it safely. The person who trusts is not aware of the final outcome of an event, but he expects a positive outcome since he has confidence in the other.
For cause and effect I will talk about specific aspects that can cause trust issues in different ways. Everyone is different and can view trust in many ways. This will be my personal preference only because some people may not agree. But I will be open to different standards of trust not just my own.
For the conclude, I will summarize trust in a round about way of how I explained it on my first paragraph and I will close it out with why trust is so important to myself.

As you work, keep in mind these guidelines for essay writing:
Work on a word processor. Save your entry on your computer with a name that you will recognize. As you work, save the piece every five lines or five minutes. After the entry is complete and saved on your word processor, you will attach it to the appropriate assignment area. FOLLOW THIS GUIDELINE! Nothing is worse than drafting a post only to find that your computer has frozen and it is lost. Create and save often on your computer in your word processing program then attach it to the assignment document in our course.
When you save your work, save it in ..doc, .docx, or .pdf format. Later in this course, you will be attaching your essays for me to read in the dropbox.
Edit your work carefully using the word processor tools (spelling and grammar), your own knowledge, and, if necessary, the help of good or professional writers(professional writing help is available for free in the writing skills center on your campus). Unedited work (work that is full of errors) is unacceptable in this class. Submitting unedited work regularly will cause you to fail the class. (After all folks, this is a college-level writing class.)
Between each draft (and you will usually need to produce at least 3 drafts) you must revise the essay so that the content of the essay becomes stronger. Follow the Basic Features (in chapters in ST. Martin’s Guide) for each essay. Bringing out these features is the main goal of your revisions.
Our goal is to create CLEAN, PROFESSIONAL DRAFTS…WELL-POLISHED.
